Usage of Shallow Germination Trays
Each stage is connected before and after, and different management methods are adopted at different stages.
Now take tomato seedlings as an example to illustrate the operation process of plug seedlings.
1. The first is the preparation before sowing, including plug cleaning, disinfection, seed treatment.
2. Then enter the seeding workshop to perform precision seeding on the precision seeder.t (seed disinfection) and substrate preparation.
3. Then enter the germination room for germination, and keep it at about 28°C and humidity above 90% emerge after about 2 to 3 days.
4. When about 80% of the seeds emerge from the top soil, move the plugs into the greening room, let the seedlings receive light,
and at the same time control the temperature to about 25°C, so as to maintain the continuous emergence and prevent excessive growth.
5. After the seedlings emerge, the seedling stage management is carried out, the temperature of the greening room controlled at about 25°C
during the day and 15°C at night, and keep the substrate moist.Process includes soil, pressure hole, seeding, covering and watering.
6. The seedlings are tempered 7-10 days before transplanting to adapt the seedlings to the field environment.

In our experience, the best time to transplant seedlings is between April and June (depending on where you live),
when the soil temperatures are 65 to 70 degrees and the risk of freezing is gone.At least two weeks before the transplant,
it’s important for you to harden your seedling or allow them time to acclimatize by taking them outside a little bit each day and
gradually increasing the exposure day-to-day. We recommend direct sunlight for one or two hours daily for the first week.
As hard as it might be to wait, some plants grow better if planted directly into the ground, including: melons, squash,
If you want to get a head start with direct seeding in your garden, use a frost blanket to warm the soil for a few weeks before planting.
After planting, place the frost blanket over the newly-seeded spots for an additional two weeks cucumbers and corn.
Another early planting technique is to place or an empty milk jug with the bottom cut out over the seedling.
Once your garden is successfully transplanted or directly planted, continue to monitor, nurture and care for it.
Don’t be afraid to try new seeds. Then enjoy the healthy, tasty rewards and let us know how we can help.
